1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of Code Intelligence, including this website and the workflow functionality made available by the project. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
“Code Intelligence,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the independent software project operating under that name. “You” refers to the person using the service or the organization they are authorized to represent.
2. Description of the Service
Code Intelligence helps SEO professionals and content teams automate repetitive content and workflow operations. Supported workflows may involve organizing content, processing documents or structured information, connecting supported tools and preparing content for downstream publishing.
Available functionality depends on the tools, permissions and workflows actually supported. Descriptions of workflow areas do not guarantee that every possible integration or automation is available.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required by applicable law, and have the legal capacity or required authorization to accept these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf. Obtain permission from a parent or guardian where applicable law requires it.
4. User Accounts and Third-Party Services
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, the security of credentials you control and actions you authorize through your connections. Do not share credentials or allow others to use your connections without permission.
Third-party accounts remain subject to their providers’ terms and settings. Inform us if you suspect unauthorized use of your connection.
5. Google Workspace and Google APIs
Connecting your Google account is voluntary. You control whether to authorize the application and which requested permissions you grant. Some connected functionality requires particular permissions and may be unavailable without them.
Code Intelligence uses Google APIs only within the permissions granted and for the requested workflow functionality. You must have authority to access and process the files, documents, spreadsheets or other data used in a workflow.
You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings. Revocation may stop workflows that depend on the connection. Information already retained is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, including its deletion request process.
Google services are provided by Google. Code Intelligence is an independent project and does not claim endorsement by or partnership with Google.
6. Acceptable Use
Use the service only for lawful purposes and within the permissions you hold. You must not:
- Access, process or disclose data without authorization.
- Use the service to infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
- Distribute malicious code, deceptive content or unlawful spam.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, misuse API permissions or disrupt the service.
- Use connected services in violation of their applicable terms or policies.
You are responsible for reviewing workflow inputs, settings and outputs before using or publishing the results.
7. User Content and Data
You retain your rights in the content and data you provide or authorize the service to process. You grant Code Intelligence the limited permission necessary to access, process and transmit that content to perform the functionality you request, subject to the Privacy Policy and your granted permissions.
You are responsible for having the necessary rights and permissions for your data. Maintain appropriate copies of important information. Workflow output may require correction or review and should not be treated as a guarantee of factual accuracy, publication suitability or SEO performance.
8. Intellectual Property
The Code Intelligence name, original website materials, design and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms permit use of the service for its intended purpose; they do not transfer ownership of the project’s intellectual property.
Third-party names and materials belong to their respective owners. Your content remains subject to your own rights and any applicable third-party rights.
9. Third-Party Services
Connected services and external websites are operated independently. Their availability, functionality, terms and privacy practices may change. Review those terms before connecting an account or sending data to a third-party destination.
We are not responsible for a third-party provider’s actions or failures, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
10. Service Availability
We aim to provide useful and reliable functionality but do not guarantee continuous availability. Maintenance, technical issues, API limits or changes to connected services may affect access or workflows.
Features may be updated, suspended or discontinued. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of changes that materially affect your ongoing use.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee error-free workflows, complete or accurate outputs, search rankings or specific business results. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Code Intelligence is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, including lost profits, lost opportunities or loss of data.
Our liability is limited only to the extent the law permits. These terms do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, and do not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
13. Termination
You may stop using the service and revoke connected account access at any time. You can request deletion of associated data under the Privacy Policy.
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, security risks, unlawful activity or the discontinuation of the service. Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we will explain the restriction and provide notice.
Provisions that by their nature should continue, including intellectual property, applicable liability limits and obligations concerning previously processed data, survive termination.
14. Changes to the Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements. We will publish the updated version with a revised date and provide additional notice where required. Material changes apply prospectively, subject to applicable law.
If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the service. Continued use after the updated terms take effect indicates acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Governing Principles / Applicable Law
These terms are interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law. They do not select a particular jurisdiction, require arbitration or waive rights or remedies that applicable law makes mandatory.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. We encourage you to contact us first to seek a practical resolution of any concern; this does not limit your right to pursue available legal remedies.
